Salix triandra ‘Whissender’
Excellent willow for medium to large basketry, but not extremely flexible, and on the stout side. Dries to a honey brown, the lightest brown that we grow. If rods are allowed to bloom, will burst with reddish-yellow female catkins that are very fragrant and attractive to bees. It is also, sadly, well-loved by deer.
