Raspberry Lime

Bundle of 6 Cuttings

Salix caprea ‘Raspberry Lime’

A later-blooming pussy willow producing numerous soft gray catkins that are lovely in floral designs and fantastic for feeding bees and butterflies. This is a “found willow” for us, and although we know it’s a caprea, we don’t know specifically what variety. Just before the catkin bursts into pollen, it puts on a colorful show of raspberry and lime. And so it is named.

Caprea willows are tasty and are frequently grown for fodder. It is not at all deer-resistant.

Grows 5’-7’ for us.
