A medium to large growing purpurea with some of the largest leaves of any of our purpureas. From a workability standpoint, the rods are very nice to work with. An excellent choice for larger basketry, hurdles, or living structures. Lambertiana is also a good variety to grow for willow bark harvesting. Deer Resistant, as all purpureas are.
