***Sales Open in October***
Bundle of 6 Willow Cuttings
Salix sp. ‘Harrison's Brown’
Not to be confused with several other varieties containing the name "Harrison." Tall, stocky rods with velvety bark towards the tips, where small catkins develop in spring. Dries to a dark brown that is very striking in obelisks and other garden structures. It has a bit of a bamboo look about it. Also, the leaves cling in the fall, and dry without dropping, which is a very different look in the winter landscape from most willows.
Popular for coarse basketry and also good for living willow projects.
7-10 ft when coppiced.
