Salix x fragilis ‘Flame’
Brilliant red-orange stems in winter. Leaves are a bright green and look similar to Bay Laurel. Great for fall and winter color in the landscape and colorful accents in basketry. Almost indistinguishable from Britzensis in late fall and winter. Flame is reported to be branchy, but that is not our experience at maturity.
A good substitute for Red Twig Dogwood in floral arrangements and holiday urns.
Grows 5'-6'' for us.
