Fragilis f. Vitellina "Bouton Aigu" - A French variety, Bouton Aigu sports reddish rods that dry to an unusual light purple. Good for baskets, but can be brittle. Bouton Aigu has very beautiful foliage in summer and lovely color in fall, making it excellent for living fences. Suitable for erosion control projects. One of the most DEER RESISTANT varieties for us.

Coppiced annually, Bouton grows 6'-9' in a season for us. Uncoppiced it will into a 60' tree!
