Blue Streak has a unique, waxy white bloom on its mature rods and a graceful, elongated leaf. It is pleasing in the landscape, is a nice basketry willow, and also produces plentiful smaller pussy willows on dark, reddish-brown stems. In spring and summer, the frosty looking rods and graceful, elongated leaves remind one of bamboo. One of our favorites.
