Salix x ‘Aquatica Gigantea Korso’
A very large and prolifically growing willow that is the most popular choice for fodder. This pussy willow has thick stems and uniquely rounded gray catkins that emerge later in the season than some others. Fall foliage is beautiful. A larger willow, Gigantea (which refers to the giant leaves) was originally developed in Finland for biomass, and mature plants are sometimes used for building furniture.
